About Betty
Pacing is the heartbeat of our session, and your recordings are the mirror we use to observe your progress. Every sound is a brushstroke on the canvas of your pronunciation.
We prioritize your accent and intonation by reviewing your weekly conversation recordings together in great detail. This process allows us to isolate specific challenges and address them through targeted role play and dialogue practice.
My background in French and Spanish, combined with my MA TESOL, provides a rigorous framework for our work. Advanced learners appreciate the structured feedback I provide on their syntax and phrasing. It is a productive way to see exactly how your language use changes over time.

Possessing a MA TESOL and a BA in French and Spanish from UTS, I operate as a bridge between your current ability and your future goals. I have taught 197 students over the course of my career. My CELTA certification ensures that every session is built on a solid methodological base.
Year 11 and 12 students often come to me to refine their accent and intonation for higher level exams. I enjoy breaking down complex grammar into manageable, everyday phrases that stick. My journey has been defined by a focus on precision and a calm, structured delivery that helps learners feel secure.
