About Sarah
I have been studying Japanese at the University of North Georgia since 2019, and I have been tutoring all ages for the past 3 years. I have experience teaching both in person and online, and I am able to curate each learning experience to fit every students' personal needs. I spent two summers tutoring military and college students in the exclusive and prestigious Summer Language Institute at the University of North Georgia. In this intensive language learning program, students learned a full year of Japanese in 6 weeks. In addition to teaching the students the Japanese language, I also planned activities and field trips that focused on the cultural aspects of Japan.

Each lesson is unique depending on the needs of the student. I am experienced with teaching all three of the writing systems (Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana), as well as speaking and listening. Students will get their own personalized experience based on their skills and interests.
