About Wesley
I am a passionate guitar tutor with over 11 years of teaching and performance experience, supported by a Bachelor of Music Education with a strong focus on guitar. Music, for me, is a powerful way to express emotion, tell stories, and connect deeply with others. I love helping students discover their unique musical voice.
My lessons focus on building strong technique, clear tone, and confident control across the fretboard. I also guide students in understanding music theory in a simple and practical way. This helps them play with freedom, not confusion. Each session is designed to be engaging, supportive, and goal-oriented.
I believe in steady progress through structured practice, creative exercises, and real music. Students learn to express feeling, not just play notes. I adapt my teaching to each learner’s pace and personality. My aim is to inspire confidence, musical fluency, and lifelong passion for the guitar.

My teaching approach is student-focused, practical, and creative, helping learners enjoy every step of their guitar journey. I begin by understanding each student’s goals, level, and musical taste. Lessons combine strong basics, clear technique, rhythm training, and musical expression. I focus on building finger strength, timing, tone control, and confident strumming.
For relaxed players, I guide them to play smoothly around a campfire, with easy chords, flowing rhythms, and joyful songs. For expressive players, I help them explore blues, bends, slides, and soulful improvisation. Creativity is always encouraged. Students learn to compose simple melodies, experiment with genres, and develop their own unique sound.
I use structured exercises, real songs, and fun challenges to keep learning engaging. Progress is steady and motivating. My goal is to build confidence, musical freedom, and a lifelong love for the guitar.
