About Ruth Jane

Hi! I understand that choosing a tutor, especially for a new skill, requires trust and confidence. I want you to feel comfortable and assured that you're investing your time and money in a worthwhile learning experience.

I have hands-on professional experience in sewing, quilting, and embroidery, including working with sewing and quilting machines and creating handmade products. These are skills I've developed through actual work and practice, and I'm happy to share my knowledge with someone who wants to learn.

My lessons are designed for beginners, so you don't need any prior experience. I'll guide you step by step, from understanding how to operate a sewing machine and practicing straight lines to applying those skills to your own project. I'll also make sure there's time for questions and practice, because learning to sew takes patience and hands-on experience.
