About Marissa
I’m very creative yet grounded in formal grammar and technique. I have 20+ years teaching with 5+ years tutoring high school/college level writing and ESL. I have 2 published poetry collections and numerous short fiction pieces published. I customize lessons to meet your needs and will help you get from concept to published. I currently teach a 10 month poetry course and lead in person workshops on fiction and poetry. My degree in creative writing provides experience in all genres.
