About Jane
"It starts with a simple breath, perhaps a bit deeper than you are used to taking. Providing a space for warm-up exercises and microphone technique is how we keep the voice healthy.
My BA in Music from McGill University serves as the base for all the technical advice I offer. Since I have spent 7 years gigging, I know exactly how to guide you through the nerves of performing. We take a steady approach to sight singing that makes the process feel much less daunting.
You will find that my methods are focused on the long term. I promise to keep our work together practical."

"Music captured my attention while I was writing songs in my bedroom. Singing is a visceral act of expression.
I have helped 320 students find their unique voice over the last 7 years. My work focuses on hobbyists and grade exam candidates who want to move past simple humming. We spend time on vibrato control and sight singing to build a foundation that lasts.
