About Erica
I teach breathing control and tone resonance to ensure your voice remains healthy for a lifetime of singing. I admit that even now I get nervous before stepping onto a new stage. My BA Music degree from Berklee allows me to combine vocal health with the deep traditions of flamenco and Latin pop. Over 13 years I have refined how to teach stage fear management to working professionals and absolute beginners.
I want you to feel the weight of your own voice in your chest. My journey remains tied to the sounds of my youth and the lessons of my teachers.
I continue to find new ways to share these songs with students who want to perform with true confidence. Everything we do together is about finding your own clear resonance. It is a long process.

Vocal strain occurs when you try to force notes instead of letting them flow. I address this by teaching head and chest voice balance as a standard part of our work. My students are often surprised at how quickly their range expands with consistent breathing control.
You will receive homework vocal drills assigned after every session to maintain your progress. We talk about microphone technique and stage fear management in a way that feels very practical. It is quite enjoyable to hear your tone shift as you gain real strength.
