About Stef
My Mission: Movement for Mindful Living My core belief is that the body has the power to heal and transform. My mission is to guide people towards mindful movement that feels good and nourishes the mind, body, and spirit. I specialise in teaching foundational yoga poses to build strength and flexibility while using breathwork and meditation to help you find a sense of inner calm. A Passion Rooted in Personal Transformation My passion for this work comes from my own transformative experience with yoga during a period of emotional and physical hardship. It was yoga that helped me heal and find my way to a more balanced and grounded life. I am a certified yoga teacher, having completed an intensive one-month training in Bali in April 2024. My dedication to this practice led me to leave my previous job to fully commit to teaching. Since returning, I have taught various yoga, meditation, and breathwork workshops and classes. I also hold a YMCA Level 2 certification in Group Exercise Classes, which has given me a deep understanding of effective and safe group instruction. My background in performing arts and dance has always centred on the joy of movement, and I now channel that experience into helping you feel more confident and connected to your body. I am passionate about working with clients on a one-on-one basis or in small, private groups to give you the personalised attention and support you deserve. I also support people over 45 with low mobility & empower them to be able to move on the mat.

My approach is to create a mindful and personalised practice that goes beyond physical poses. I teach Vinyasa yoga as a slow flow style, emphasising the connection between breath and movement. Each class is thoughtfully sequenced to build strength, increase flexibility, and cultivate mental clarity. For stretch classes, my methodology is rooted in safe and effective mobility techniques. Depending on the clients' goals & requests. I focus on releasing tension, improving range of motion, and calming the nervous system. I offer modifications and hands-on assists (with consent) to ensure each client feels supported and challenged at their own pace. My goal is to empower you to listen to your body and find your own unique "flow" or state of release.
