About Parth
I am a fairly new yoga instructor, and received my 200 TYY from a local studio in town, Hothouse Yoga. Currently, I am working on my 300 hour YTT and gaining so much valuable knowledge on topics including: yoga for social justice, trauma informed yoga, and the yoga sutras to name a few. I started to practice yoga in college when I learned that this ancient practice can be a tool to manage anxiety and depression symptoms. The more I practiced, the more I experienced a sense of stillness that helped keep my grounded. I sought out pockets of time throughout my day to make it to a local class either at a nearby studio or recreation center. It would be a privilege to bring this practice to you.

I put an emphasis on breath awareness and enjoy providing modifications so that students can find steadiness and ease in their own practice. Starting off each class by helping students feel oriented to the space and grounded in their bodies is a great way to hold space. Yoga asanas (postures) are less about aesthetics for me and more about how you feel in your body while moving and breathing. Keeping a trauma sensitive approach is important for me as well, and helps me meet each student where they are at. I'd love to provide a style of class that is a good fit for you, so whether you are looking for down regulation, up regulation, have specific areas in your body you want to focus on, or just want to learn more, I'm happy to create a sequence unique to you. An ultimate goal of mine is to help support you in your practice so that you can experience the positive affects of a consistent yoga practice.
