Yoga is just not about physical fitness but also mental fitness. Therefore my classes include yoga asanas, pranayamas, meditation and also certain activities to increase focus and concentration. My teaching starts with prayer, whole body warm-up, Surya namaskaras, asanas, pranayama & yoga nidra. This flow is for fitness session. The class flow will change depending on attendees' age groups and also health issues. I have taught yoga to corporates, working individuals, elderly people and people with specific medical conditions.

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline and an ancient practice that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve health and well-being.
    Ten years ago, I gained weight after my pregnancy and I automatically fit my body through yoga and strength workout and from there I got interest into the health and fitness field and finally this field chose me.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    when I transformed myself after pregnancy, I saw almost every person was dealing with some kind of health issues. So, I decide to guide them and I started getting motivated and started learning more new things.
  • How does your work help society?

    Through my work of teaching yoga, every people gain numerous benefits like reduce health care cost, reduce stress and anxiety, enhanced creativity and self experience etc.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    Gurudev Sri Sri ravi shankar is the one whom I see as my inspiration. His teaching have touched millions of lives world wide and promoting a vision of a world free from stress and violence.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    I used to play basketball and volleyball and I am a state level judio player and love to cook new meals for my family.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    I have been doing all the workouts since 2014 but after having a baby, a lot has changed in my body. Then I started yoga Nd strength workout and my body felt different and then I thought I can help mothers who are overweight after having a baby. Then I joined the field and took the certificate. Started teaching or I m very happy to help everyone
