About Yomara
I have been practicing yoga since 1999
My first exposure to yoga came after I became ill and was healed through relaxation and meditation.
This experience changed the course of my life and made me understand the importance of a discipline of well-being and harmony for body and mind.
After that came the Integral Yoga philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother on my way. Thanks to this teachings I made my first trip to India and after a period of internalization I took part in a yoga course in Rishikesh that showed me the beauty and effectiveness of the classical yoga path.
Since then I have not stopped growing, practicing and teaching everything I have discovered about the nature of the self on the path of self-awareness.
For me, yoga is the perfect tool to find what is most important in life: love, peace and joy.

If you are interested in the classic yoga tradition, philosophy, psychology and therapy, then you have come to the right place.
My offer focuses on relaxed and therapeutic Hatha Yoga, alignment-based yoga, attention training and meditation.
Yoga is a journey into yourself, to recognize the infinite potential of the body, to accept things as they are and to practice mindfulness.
The style we practice is Hatha Yoga with therapeutic and strength training elements; slow, gentle, relaxing and calming but also activating, stimulating and invigorating.
Like other forms of yoga, hatha yoga seeks to promote physical and mental health through asana (posture), shatkarma & pranayama (purification breath exercises), mudra & bandha (energetic gesture) & samadhi (freedom)
The class will be especially designed for your needs and we will only study the yogic philosophy if you are up for it.
