My approach is based on the child’s needs. Where should they be? Where are they now academically? What is their learning style: visual, tactile or auditory? I believe use interactive activities adjusted to the content I am teaching. individual speaking, reading and skills through direct teaching. Teach the child the materials appropriate for their interest level matched to their academic ability & progress from there.
