About 司馬
Just completed Master's degree at the University of Adelaide. I teach Japanese history in both Japanese and English. I can teach from basic and advanced level. I have 4 years of experience in teaching history. I am from Osaka, the biggest city in western Japan. I speak very strong Kansai dialect so you might catch different Japanese which you already know.

My lesson covers all about Japanese history. However, if you want to learn a specific era of the history, I am available to do so. Taking my lessons, you will be able to enjoy your next trip to Japan more interesting and educational so you can show off to your friends. My techniques for teaching are to focus on story continuity and relevance. History is made up of a series of seconds, which means although it is all complex, it is all connected. My approach is not about memorizing history, but to share individual stories and discuss it from the perspective of historical figures. I have 4 years of experience teaching history. My lesson is for those who love Japanese culture and history. Anyone interested in Japanese culture such as Samurai and its dramatic history, you should learn with me.
