About Susan
Enjoyment comes from seeing how quickly you grasp the nuances of French when the material is clear and structured. Practice is direct and simple. We start our work together by completing a diagnostic level test before we build the plan for your specific goals. I focus on accent and intonation to help you sound natural in conversation.
Travel French is a specialty I offer to help you navigate new environments with confidence. We work on dialogue practice so you can handle real world scenarios without hesitation. My approach is grounded in the 13 years of experience I have gained in this field. I bridge the gap between classroom theory and the rhythm of actual speech.

Teaching exists for me because language bridges gaps between cultures. Growing up in Paris gave me an intuitive grasp of French that I now share with kids, intermediate learners, and hobbyists who are planning a move or immigration.
My 13 years of experience allow me to break down complex liaison and nasal sounds into manageable steps for any student. I have guided over 1000 students toward better communication skills. My academic foundation is a Master of Arts in French Studies and TESOL from Université de Montréal.
I incorporate idioms, expressions, and everyday phrases into our discussions to ensure you sound authentic. Business French and role play are also part of my repertoire. It is simply about helping you feel comfortable with your voice.
