About Onder
Between 2002 and 2019, I taught classes on history, Turkish, Ottoman Turkish, and Ottoman paleography. I wrote my master's thesis on modern Ottoman law and the penal system, focusing specifically on criminal profiles reflected in the Ottoman court registers of 19th-century Antalya. Additionally, a text of mine, published in 2012, which I wrote on the subcultural/marginal youth groups of the 20th century and their music anthropology and history, is being used as a textbook in three universities in Turkey.

For those who speak European languages other than Finnish, Hungarian, and Estonian as their mother tongue, Turkish has a completely different and unusual mathematical structure. I promise you lessons that are both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating, just like playing chess. This call to the process of learning Turkish invites you to a new and extraordinary intellectual adventure.
The method I follow in my lessons varies according to the student's age and their relationship with Turkish. Simply put, the program applied to those who want to learn Turkish within an academic framework or solely for intellectual activity differs from the program applied to a student whose mother or father is a native Turkish speaker.
The most important parts of language learning are activities aimed at speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Lessons related to grammar structure support these activities.
