About Irene
Sitting in a quiet Boston studio for 13 years helped me realize that most players stay stuck in their bedrooms because they lack a path to playing with others. My BFA in Popular Music from USC Thornton School of Music gave me the technical framework to break down complex ideas like modes, scales, and fingerpicking into manageable habits. I handle everything from barre chords and strumming patterns to the nuances of rhythm guitar and acoustic technique. My goal is to get you out of your room and onto a stage or into a jam session by focusing on the music that defines rock, blues, and modern sounds.
