About Nicole
I am Nicole Modica, I am 23 years old and I recently graduated from the University of Toronto. My first language is Italian as I was born in Sicily and moved to Canada 7 years ago. I do not have a tutoring certification, however, I am pretty determined to create a very positive and organized environment for my students. I do know what it means to learn a completely new language that is very much distant from your native one, so I am confident that I can do my best to make the lessons fun and not stressful :). I am open to change my lesson plans according to the student's needs at any time.

The lessons will vary depending on the student's level of preparedness. They will be subdivided in the following order:
-Vocabulary + Grammar
- Reading
- Listening
- Writing/ Conversation
The way I would like to deliver my lessons is to introduce a general topic, for example travels, and from there, gradually teaching the related vocabulary and grammar.
With regards to the fourth section of the lesson, it will be dedicated to the writing only for at least the first 5- 6 lessons, and then it will be alternated with a conversation section.
All the academic material required will be provided by me but always come to class with a notebook and pens :)
I am always open to change my lesson plan according to the student's needs. Suggestions are also welcome.
*** The lessons will be delivered in English or Italian depending on the student's level.
