About Aimee
I have been teaching violin for 3 years, guiding students of all ages—from beginners taking their first steps in music to college students and working professionals pursuing advanced skills. My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, encouragement, and tailoring lessons to each student’s individual learning style and goals.
I emphasise building strong technical skills, music theory knowledge, sight-reading, and expressive performance abilities. Over 200 students have studied under my guidance, many of whom have performed in recitals, competitions, and concerts.
My lessons combine structured practice with creative exercises, making learning both effective and enjoyable. I aim to help students develop confidence, skill, and a lifelong passion for the violin.

My teaching methodology combines compassion, communication, and encouragement to create lessons that are engaging, meaningful, and student-centred. I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace, style, and goals to make learning the violin motivating, enjoyable, and confidence-building.
I focus on step-by-step instruction, demonstrations, and creative exercises, helping students develop technical skills, musicality, and self-expression. I encourage questions, exploration, and active participation to make lessons interactive and inspiring.
Being supportive is central to my approach. I celebrate achievements, provide constructive guidance, and help students overcome challenges while fostering confidence, independence, and creativity. Lessons balance technical skill, artistic expression, and personal growth.
In addition to violin, I teach other subjects using the same compassionate methodology, fostering curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong passion for learning.
