About Keith Ashley
Hello! My name is Keith Ashley, and I am a dedicated Grade 10 student at DMMMSU SLUC Laboratory High School with a passion for helping others learn. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently demonstrated commitment to both excellence and leadership, serving in various student leadership roles, including Class President, SPG President, Science Club Vice President, Treasurer, and currently Class Captain.
I enjoy making lessons simple, engaging, and easy to understand. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take the time to explain concepts patiently and adapt my teaching to each learner's pace and needs. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to build their confidence and develop a genuine understanding of what they are learning.
I offer tutoring in elementary and junior high school subjects, as well as beginner-level Filipino, Pangasinan, and Ilocano language lessons for students who want to improve their communication skills or learn more about these languages and cultures.
As a tutor, I strive to create a welcoming and respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because learning is a process. Whether you need help preparing for exams, completing assignments, strengthening your foundation in a subject, or learning a new language, I am committed to supporting you every step of the way.
I look forward to sharing my knowledge and helping you achieve your academic goals.

My Approach as a Tutor
I believe that every student has the ability to learn when lessons are explained in a way that matches their learning style. As a Grade 10 student with leadership experience and a strong academic background, I understand the challenges students face because I have recently gone through the same lessons myself. My goal is not only to help students get the correct answers but also to help them truly understand the concepts.
My Teaching Method and Techniques
I use a patient, interactive, and student-centered approach. Rather than simply giving answers, I encourage students to think critically by asking questions and guiding them step by step. I simplify difficult topics using real-life examples, visuals, and practice exercises. I also adjust my teaching pace depending on each student's level of understanding and learning style.
For language lessons, I focus on practical communication. Students will learn vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, sentence construction, reading, writing, and everyday conversations. I encourage frequent speaking practice to build confidence and fluency.
A Typical Lesson
A typical lesson lasts about one hour and usually follows this structure:
A short review of previous lessons or a quick assessment of prior knowledge.
Introduction of the new topic with simple explanations and examples.
Guided practice where we solve problems or complete activities together.
Independent practice to check understanding.
Review of key points and feedback.
Optional homework or additional exercises for reinforcement.
Lessons are always adjusted according to the student's needs, goals, and pace.
What Sets Me Apart
Although I am currently a Grade 10 student, I bring both academic achievement and leadership experience to my tutoring. I have been a consistent honor student throughout my elementary years, earned honors again in Grade 8, and have served in several leadership positions, including Class President, SPG President, Science Club Vice President, Treasurer, and currently Class Captain.
Since I am close in age to many of my students, I can easily relate to the challenges they face and explain lessons in a way that is easy to understand. I strive to create a friendly, respectful, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without fear of making mistakes.
Who My Lessons Are For
My tutoring services are best suited for:

Junior High School students (Grades 7–8)

Whether a student wants to improve grades, build confidence, or learn a new language, I am committed to making each lesson engaging, practical, and enjoyable.
