In my opinion the most important thing is that learning to play an instrument should be associated mainly with possibility of emotions expression and fun.
Playing an instrument gives the opportunity to reflect one's own experiences in musical interpretations and connect with a listener in an amazing non-verbal communication.
Improving the technique is a very important element of learning to play on every instrument. I find it crucial to work on the movements efficiency. I teach how to produce sound with as little effort as possible.
I focus on the individual needs of students to give personalised lessons and successfully develop students strengths and eliminate weaknesses.
I pay attention to playing with good intonation, precise rhythm and projection of a beautiful, strong sound.
I find it very important to teach how to practise effectively and to give students tools needed for good individual practice.
I believe that before starting cooperation it is very important to set clear goals. I’m more than happy to prepare students for exams and competitions.
I don’t create long-term pressure and try to minimise stress during lessons as these are factors that have a very negative impact on student development.
I've gained my experience by teaching privately and working as a teaching assistant to my professor, Tomasz Strahl at the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland between 2017 and 2020.
I am a very ambitious, calm person with highly developed communication and listening skills and I would love to share my passion for the instrument and help students in every age and on all levels to find their right path in the musical journey.

As a conductor at RCM, I’ve worked with Adam Mazurek in a masterclass on Dvořák’s cello concerto. The masterclass was made of two parts - work with Adam and a pianist and also a read through with a chamber ensemble.
Adam was very well prepared for the occasion, played the work with very deep understanding and was very easy to work with. As a soloist, Adam understands that performing a concerto like that by Dvořák requires a collaborative spirit, an understanding where to lead as the soloist and where to accompany the orchestra. Among the many aspects of Adam’s playing that were impressive, stamina was certainly one of them, as he played the demanding concerto a good number of times on the same day. He went beyond his duties when he stayed on afterwards to chat about the piece and this is also where his strength of preparation and knowledge of the work was apparent.
I sincerely look forward to the next time I work with Adam and wholeheartedly recommend you him to you!
Best wishes,
Ondrej Soukup

Adam is not just a brilliant cellist, but also his understanding of what his students need as well as an amazing human being.I strongly recommend if you are looking for a great cello teacher.
Adam has been the most wonderful and knowledgeable professor of Cello! He has helped me learn how to play cello from the basics and is preparing me ever since. He's very calm, hardworking reliable and dedicated teacher. On the other hand his career and achievements so far tell a lot about his mastery of instrument and possibility to transfer his knowledge to the student. Very patient and understanding, as well as appreciative! I would recommend him with all my heart!
I highly recommend Adam as a cello teacher. As a colleague, we met last year during a concert and I can attest that he is a truly excellent cellist, with wonderful musical ideas, and he is also a very reliable person. I would trust him completely as a cello teacher and musician and highly recommend him to any student.
Adam is a very patient, calm and most importantly understanding teacher, overall he just has this "good human" vibe which is very important for me
Adam is a great teacher. Very pro active and gave very nice lessons to my daughter. She enjoyed it and made much progress. Thanks again for all Adam !
Adam's cello lessons exceeded our highest expectations. Our son enjoys every minute of his cello lessons, and what's more, he seems to be getting more and more into it. Even though he is usually quite stubborn and loses enthusiasm easily, it’s been quite a time since he showed any sign of boredom.
Adam is a great teacher with lots of experience. He has a great approach to both children and adults. His personality is characterised by openness and spontaneity. Inspiration and motivation are his trademakrs. He’s a person with a very high propriety and work hygiene. As an active musician he presents a very high level of performance skills.
Brilliant cellist and pedagogue, I recommend Adam highly to anyone who wants to learn cello.

Adam is an exceptional cellist whom I have worked with on many projects. It is always a pleasure to play with him as he's not only highly professional but also fun and engaging; he has a real gift for for imparting musical energy and communicating ideas clearly and effectively. I would reccomend Adam as a teacher to anyone!
