About Elena
Throughout my undergraduate degree in Zoology I have enjoyed teaching peers, working on revision methods in particular. I am now a first year Veterinary Student at the University of Surrey, enjoying the course throughly. I really like to work in a group, sharing knowledge and teaching each other areas of a particular topic we understand the most.

My teaching method is active learning. I would base my classes on lots of short mini quizzes, encouraging students to make their own and do lots of past papers. I approach each topic by breaking it down and relating it to the specification, going through step by step and then using your knowledge to make the points more concise.
It is also important to be able to take away the methodology of independent learning, so you are reading around your subject and are learning outside of the classroom.
