About Lily-Joy

I am a passionate Art and Design educator with extensive experience teaching children in Dubai. As Head of Prep Art, I have developed a strong understanding of how to nurture creativity, build artistic confidence, and inspire children to explore their individual talents.

With a background in Fine Art, I specialize in drawing, painting, mixed media, textiles, sculpture, and ceramics. My teaching combines technical skill development with creative exploration, encouraging children to experiment with different materials, discover new techniques, and develop their own artistic style.

I believe art is about more than creating a beautiful final piece. It is about curiosity, experimentation, resilience, and discovering the confidence to express yourself.

About the lesson

With 8 years of teaching experience across the UK and Dubai, including 7 years as Head of Prep Art, I am a passionate art educator dedicated to helping children develop their artistic skills, confidence and creativity.

My teaching approach is warm, encouraging and child-centred. I believe every child has the potential to be creative, and I aim to provide an inspiring environment where young artists feel confident to experiment, explore new techniques and express their individuality.
