ASSIGNMENT FEEDBACK & EXAM PREPARATION: 48hr turnaround on comprehensive guidance on SAC drafts, practice essays and written assignments.

Throughout my VCE journey, Evie has helped me significantly with tackling everyone’s most hated subject, English. In my essay writing, she has helped me exceptionally with my structure, analysis and understanding of what assessors look for in our work and has allowed me to feel much more confident in my writing which has also helped me in my other humanities subject. I wouldn’t know anyone else who would be the perfect tutor to help someone gain greater confidence and skills in English. Not only that, she is very kind and enjoyable to work with which definitely helps having to face the subject many students can’t avoid.

Evie has been an excellent tutor for my daughter throughout Year 12 VCE English. She has been extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and her guidance and constructive feedback have made a real difference to my daughter’s confidence and approach to English.

We have particularly appreciated the encouragement she has provided during what can be a very demanding year. She has always been approachable, flexible and committed to helping my daughter achieve her best.

We have been so pleased with Evie's support that I have asked her to continue tutoring my second child as she embarks on VCE English next. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to other students and parents.

Evie has been a fantastic English tutor for my daughter. She is professional, reliable and quickly built a great rapport with her. My daughter really enjoys working with Evie, and we have seen a noticeable improvement in her English skills and confidence. I would happily recommend her.

We’ve been so impressed with our daughter's progress since starting with Evie. Her confidence and English skills have improved so much. Evie is professional, friendly, patient, encouraging, and genuinely cares about her students. Year 12 was always going to be such a massive year with a lot of pressure. Evie has really helped our daughter create better study habits, and our daughter also really benefited from those 1-on-1 sessions and bouncing her thoughts. We’re very grateful for all of Evie's support and we highly recommend her!

I started tutoring with Evie a couple weeks ago and I think I’ve learnt more in those weeks than since I started school, Evie helps a lot with building my confidence and she is genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve met. Felix.

Evie tutors my Year 12 daughter in English. I can’t begin to describe what an amazing teacher she is! She goes above and beyond in every way! Always prepared, kind and ever so thorough. I don’t hesitate to recommend her to everyone. She has made such a difference in my daughter’s performance and even her life. My daughter sometimes has issues in a social environment and she is so enamoured of Evie and her teaching methods. Thanks so much Evie. I don’t think we could get through this year without you!

Evie, you are such an amazing, engaging, insightful English tutor and our daughter has thrived under you.

We appreciate the wonderful resources you created and shared and all the discussions you’ve had together.  These discussions and insights have helped our daughter to engage more deeply with the texts. She has gained confidence with you, she has found her ‘voice’ and is learning to finesse her arguments.

Thank you for being such a positive and inspiring influence on our daughter’s learning journey and her confidence and love for English literature.

Evie is very knowledgeable and highly skilled and we highly recommend Evie to anyone wanting to excel in English. Thank you Evie for your efforts and we are very grateful to have found you. You are doing a great job this year with Amaya in her year 12 VCE.

Evie was a fantastic English tutor who helped me a lot throughout year 12 English and really enabled me to improve my English skills. As someone who found English a more difficult subject compared to others, after beginning with Evie I saw a significant boost in my English grades. She was very engaging and always willing to provide extra feedback even outside our lessons. Evie helped me a lot with exploring the deeper level of analysis beyond the text when studying my English text Born A Crime, which really improved the quality of my essays. I highly recommend Evie as an experienced and very comprehensive English tutor!

Evie has been so sweet throughout Year 12, even though English was a sore subject for me, Evie put up with my complaining and helped me understand the subject. She is super organised and really cares about you learning. I'll miss her as my tutor!!

Evie taught me during the second half of 2024. She is an exceptional teacher. What sets her apart from other tutors is the fact she is extremely proffessional, but also has the gift of making her students feel like family. I was extremely happy with the way I was treated and could of not asked for a better mentor. If you need an English look no further, Evie is truly one of the best in the game.

Evie is an experienced tutor who works with the student to create a unique study plan with clear goals. Her friendly approach makes for an enjoyable and stress free experience.

Evie is a very friendly person and a good communicator. She is very articulate and makes a good tutor as she is astute and encouraging in intellectual pursuits. Whilst she is very organized and loves a timetable or a list, she is also very creative and enjoys discussing imaginative and unconventional ideas.

Evie tutored two of my children a few years ago. She was friendly and patient and the kids loved her. They used to hate reading and homework but Evie encouraged them to find the fun in reading. They would look forward to sessions with her and they were confident by exam time. Worth every cent! Thanks again Evie :]

Evie was the perfect tutor for my daughter. Extremely patient and caring and really took the time to tutor her in a way that helped her build her confidence with the subjects. Highly recommend.
