About Luke
I graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music Performance with a concentration in Music Composition. I won numerous awards in my program in addition to a concerto competition of an original flute concerto. I lead chamber groups, participated in orchestras, bands, and a jazz ensemble. I maintain high standards for myself and students.

My flute playing is informed by music theory and proper technique. I have experience with a wide variety of genres. I have a breadth of knowledge on solo repertoire and orchestral excerpts. I have experience teaching and learning virtually. My focus is building solid foundations while playing enjoyable music. I compose specialized exercises and excerpts to target problem-areas in students’ technique and musicality.
