About Hugo
I am an engineer, graduated from Polytech'Lille and I have been using Revit daily for 3 years. I carried out several architectural modeling and MEP missions (HVAC, electricity and plumbing), on industrial buildings, schools and offices. For 1 year I have also supported clients on the implementation of their BIM strategy.

Subjects covered during the courses: - Presentation of general concepts of BIM and Revit - Preparation of the model before modeling: georeferencing, levels, linking of plans, units, cutting of models ... - General principles of project management on Revit: Tree structure of views, sub-projects, filters, visibility parameters, phases, nomenclatures - Architectural Modeling: Floor, wall, roof, stairs, doors, windows, curtain walls, railings, beams, columns ... - Modeling tools HVAC: Pipe tools, ducts, duct / duct accessories, technical and terminal equipment, connections of elements, concept of systems in Revit - Electricity modeling: Tools for cable trays, lighting, electrical equipment, concept of circuit in Revit - Creation of parameters : project parameters, shared parameters - First approach to the creation of families: extrusion tools, extrusion by path, connection, connection by path, revol ution, voids - Second approach to the creation of families: parametric families, best practices, specificities of MEP families - Tips and tricks for modeling: keyboard shortcuts, quick tools, online family libraries - Creation of 2D deliverables: creation of views in plan, annotations and dimensions, formatting of plans in the sheets (addition of legend, title block) and export in DWG
