Born in a Soviet Kazakhstan I learnt my mother's tongue (Russian) through the best methods and rigid structure. I lived most of my adult life in the UK and have a deep understanding of both of these

About Ilya

Being a father to a toddler I realised that I love sharing skills and knowledge. I love the Russian language and despite the situation in the world at the moment I think that every person should try themselves at it. I could teach any age group as I am not biased to anyone

About the lesson

I will prepare for each lesson beforehand and customise it to your needs and requirements. Together we can look at pronunciation, grammar, spelling and writing. I will ensure that every person who would leave my lessons would develop or know how to develop a new set of skills in the Russian language

Studying has never come easy to me so I needed someone who was going to be able to make it interesting for me. I came into contact with Ilya and since then I have had the tools to actually learn and understand the language. High-quality teacher!

I've always wanted to learn Russian, but trying to teach myself was like banging my head against a brick wall. Then I met Ilya. He was this really chill guy who knew Russian inside and out. It was like learning a language while having fun. He spent time, fixing my mistakes and taking me through it all. Slowly but surely, I started to get it and be able to speak Russian!
Ilya is the best!
