About Myles
I am a third-year student at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, one of the US's oldest and most premier institutions for conservatory-style music education. I have studied under many composers, many awardees of the Guggenheim fellowship, Pulitzer Prize nominees, and other significant grants. My education, while founded in the rigors of conservatory, is adaptably modern and constructed around the musician working today. My works have been premiered by numerous ensembles, fellow students, and under the batons of notable conductors such as Vimbaye Kaziboni. I look forward to passing along the knowledge I have accrued and helping you become a better musician!

Because there are so many facets to music theory as a whole, my lessons are tailored around you, and what you want or need to learn. All first lessons begin with a consultation, and then we will explore some materials and works that demonstrate what you are trying to achieve. My teaching style is very conversational, rather than a lecture, I want to engage with the student on the topics on a one on one basis.
After the first lesson, I will come up with a more comprehensive roadmap to help you acquire the skills that you need. I have various exercises from workbooks that I supplement my teaching with, highly effective texts that my teachers taught me with, but also have a plethora of scores for study. I'm looking forward to teaching you all about music!

Rates Include a one hour lesson, lesson materials, and work outside of class. Homework will be assigned, but will be minimal and discussion based.
