About Holden
I have played drums for ten years. When I started to play drums at age 11, I knew I needed a mentor to improve my technique. By having a drum teacher, I was better able to understand how to keep a tempo and understand time measures. I understood that being a tutor/instructor requires individual patience, effort, and understanding of the student's level. I am willing to teach anyone 7+ who wants to learn to play drums. No matter which level my student is at, I will help that person understand the techniques associated with rhythm and tempo and playing songs on drums. Not only will I teach my students techniques, but I hope they will have fun as well. When my student knows the basics of playing drums, I can help them learn to play some of their favorite songs.

Perfect! He is very flexible with coordinating time frames for classes. My 8 year old son is eager to do drum lessons with Holden, he has learned so much in a short matter of time. I must say me and my so are both grasping the concept of drumming as well as the proper names to each instrument attached. Holden is very clear spoken, he makes classes fun and exciting and most importantly patient with his student. I totally recommend him to anyone who is curious to learn how to play the drums or just want to advance more. Thanks Holden we’re looking forward to our future lessons to come.

He is such a talented drummer, with over decade of experience, and has played many shows with various artists and bands. Holden is also a great communicator and listener, and is open to working with other people to make sure everyone’s goals are met. I can not recommend Holden enough as a musician, teacher, friend, and in my case, brother.

As for his drumming, I have had the privilege of performing (and jamming) with him. He is skilled at keeping a band in time, knowledgeable about drumming styles, and a just plain fun guy to play with (imperative in a musical setting)! Would highly recommend his working with him! He is patient, kind, and he rocks.
