About Janaya
I am a second year political science and music student at the University of Alberta, and I studied up to grade 8 RCM piano + voice and theory! I also have about 3 years of experience in songwriting, in a more contemporary genre, with the use of guitars and ukuleles!

I teach in Edmonton/surrounding area, and I’m excited to pass on my tools of proficiency in the RCM music theory exams! I have 5 years teaching experience in swimming lessons, and 2 years of experience in tutoring for music theory and saxophone techniques. I have an average of 95% on all of my RCM theory exams, including level 9 history. I use many memorization tools, hands-on tools, and fun, exciting ways to practice for the exam! I am so excited to pass my wisdom and skills to you, in order for you to succeed the way I did in the RCM theory exams! :)
