I enjoy sharing my knowledge of playing drums and seeing my students develop and realize their own successes from studying with me.
My desire to teach is driven by my own thirst for knowledge and my passionate and enthusiastic personality felt by others.
I have been studying and playing drums for 46 years. I have studied with promient educators in New York City and attended Mannes College of Music_NYC.

I structure my approach to the individual student and based on their age and pre-existing knowledge music.
We work on 5 broad categories:
1- Techique
2- Reading music notation
3- 4-way coordination
4- Rudimental studies as applied to marching and orchestra performance.
5-Reality Drumming: Playing along to recordings of favorite artists.
Teaching beginners of all ages, intermediate and advanced levels. Specialization in teaching students with learning differences - all proficiencies.

Details
Our rates for private and personalized instruction are $35 for 30-minute session, $45 for a 45-minute session, 60 for a 60-minute session, $90 for a 90-minute session. We offer a pricing incentive discount plan. Pre pay 5 lessons in advance get a 6th lesson free.
Drum set rentals are available for programed students.
