When I first started working with Renee, she realized my flute had some issues, and helped me get it fixed. I am an adult learner, been playing for some years, but felt the need to improve my playing. Renee has been very good at picking out my weaknesses, and directing her teaching in the appropriate direction. We have been working together for a few months now, and I feel that every lesson has been of value. She has an overall approach to improvement, breathing, body posture, embouchure control, and musicality and rhythm have all been addressed.

My playing has improved noticeably in the time we have been working together, far stronger and more Lyrical. (Pun intended, but true!)

My daughter has been taking flute lessons with Renee for many years. She loves it. Renee is very experienced in playing flute and teaching it. She is kind and patient, regardless of the playing levels of the students. She is also good at pushing the students with the appropriate guidance. We have been fortunate to have Renee as our teacher.
