About Isabella
I am a student majoring in Russian at Miami University of Ohio. I have been studying Russian since 2014, and have received numerous awards and scholarships for it, including gold medals in National Olympiada of Spoken Russian and the National Russian Essay Contest, and most recently, a 2020 US State Department Critical Language Scholarship.
I fell in love with the Russian language because I have always had a fondess for Russian culture, especially music and art. I have also always wanted to be a teacher in some form, sharing my knowledge with whomever wants to learn. Individual tutoring allows me to better customize and tailor lessons to clients' own needs, and focus on their strengths and weaknesses.
I have studied Russian since 2014, excelling in both secondary and university-level courses. I recently completed all available Russian courses at my school, finishing out third-year college Russian. I also am tutored myself, meeting with a tutor every week to ensure I maintain my Russian abilities.
