About Andrew

I’m a native Chinese speaker with a clear and natural accent. I love language, psychology, reading, and talking with people from different cultures — that’s why I enjoy teaching Chinese so much. In my lessons, I focus on making you feel confident, especially if you’re a beginner. I take time to understand how you learn best and design lessons that are practical, interesting, and personal to you. I’m patient, well-prepared, and I care about your progress. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional but easy to talk to.

About the lesson

Hello, I’m Andrew a native Chinese speaker with a clear and standard accent. I specialize in helping beginners feel comfortable and confident when learning Chinese.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and easy to follow. I understand how challenging it can be to start learning a new language, so I focus on building a strong foundation through fun and practical lessons.

I also have some background in psychology, which helps me better understand how students learn and how to create a relaxed, supportive classroom atmosphere.

Why learn with me?
• I speak clear and standard Mandarin that’s easy to understand
• I’m very patient and friendly, especially with beginners
• I can explain grammar and pronunciation in English when needed
• I create interesting and customized lessons based on your goals
• I include real-life topics, cultural tips, and useful expressions

In my lessons, we’ll cover pinyin, tones, common daily phrases, basic sentence patterns, and simple conversations. I also love sharing Chinese culture and helping you sound natural when you speak.

Whether you’re learning for travel, work, or just for fun, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Let’s start your Chinese journey together. I look forward to seeing you in class.
