About Guilherme
I graduated in Drums (Jazz) at the Superior School of Music of Lisbon and I started the master's degree in Teaching of Music in the same institution recently. As a teacher I have given private lessons and teached in several different music schools and had the opportunity to teach and deal with many different students who gave me some experience in teaching at various levels. As a professional musician I have already played and collaborated with some of the best known names in Portuguese music (Luis Represas and Pedro Abrunhosa) as well as some of the most renowned Jazz artists in the country (Pedro Moreira, João Barradas, Jeffery Davis, Gonçalo Marques ...) Throughout my career I also participated in some competitions and won the following awards: Young Musicians SPA / Antena 2 Award (2016, "Jazz Combo" Category, with the group "HOME" by João Barradas); 2nd place in the international competition "JoJazz 2016" in Havana (Cuba); Honorable Mention of Best Instrumentalist (13th edition of the S.luiz Jazz Festival, 2013)

I have been teaching since I was 18 years old and I have experience with various types of students of different ages, different levels and with different ambitions. My studies were focused more on the Jazz style, but I have a lot of experience with other styles like Pop, Rock, Soul, R & B, Traditional Portuguese Music etc. (see experiences and curriculum below) I give classes in my studio, or at home (in case of being at home the price is negotiated separately).

Perfect! Super comunicativo e adorei a forma prática como explica.
Perfect! Tive aulas com o Guilherme de forma intensiva num período de preparação para provas de acesso ao Conservatório. Gostei de trabalhar com ele, ensina de forma acessível, é pragmático, e ajuda bastante e é simpático. No final, consegui passar nas provas e entrar no curso que queria! O Guilherme foi fundamental.
Perfect! A minha filha sempre quis ter aulas de bateria e não podia ter arranjado melhor professor que o Guilherme! Ela está adorar! Recomendo.
