About Jonas

Ten years of Latin studies, first at school and then at university, allowed me to get a deep knowledge of the subject. Furthermore, I completed my master's degree with a dissertation on “Metamorphoses” by Apuleius at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata". Last year I've created a website with resources for learning Latin and I'm currently working on it.
I love everything related to Latin, from the wisdom of its literature to the refinement that the language can display, therefore it’s a pleasure for me to teach it. I would like to help my students understand it better and discover new things together.

About the lesson

The first thing I do is getting as much information as possible about the needs and the level of the student. Then it’s possible to set the goals together and start working towards them, always considering the learning style of the student.

Perfect! Really enjoying my lessons, Jonas is very knowledgeable and the pace is great. I needed a tutor to read unadapted Latin texts with, to help me on my journey to fluency (I’ve been learning Latin for several years already) Jonas is doing a great job of helping me with my study goals.

Perfect! Very kind, open and happy to adapt to each person’s teaching method. Lessons with him would be especially good if you are a native speaker of a Romance language.
