I taught Precious-Pearl A-level Latin for two years and she is undoubtedly one of the best Latinists I have ever encountered in my teaching career. She has a systematic knowledge of Latin in all its grammatical complexity and a thorough grounding in Latin literature, particularly authors such as Cicero, Livy, Ovid and Virgil. She is able to explain even the most challenging areas of Latin grammar with a commendable lucidity. I have also seen at firsthand her ability to explain the fundamentals of Latin to beginners who are struggling with the subject - Precious-Pearl's subject knowledge is outstanding but she also brings a friendliness, energy and empathy to her lessons that any student would wish their teacher to have. Precious-Pearl is the kindest, most supportive, and professional tutor I have had the pleasure of working with.
