About Isa

I am a MTeach student who have worked as a primary school teacher and afterschool tutor for a year. I have taught around 45 students aged from 5 to 13. Most of them show improvement in their academic results and achieved the required standard. Some of the students mentioned about their improvement of confidence in using the language taught in daily/various social settings.

I born in Australia and lived in Hong Kong for 16 years. I can speak fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

About the lesson

I normally start with knowing my students' learning strengths, needs and interests, and design lessons accordingly. My teaching content will be closely related to students' daily experiences which will assist them in applying learned knowledge and skills in their everyday life.

I create a customised curriculum for each student based on what you want to learn .

lesson structure:
- 10 min Chinese daily conversation (speaking practice)
- 15 min Chinese reading and discussion (newspaper, stories, articles, etc)
- 10 min Vocab
- 15 min PinYin/ Chinese writing
- 5 min conclusion of the lesson
