About Flora

Hi! My name is Flora, and I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker currently studying at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney. I have around five months of tutoring experience, teaching students from Year 1 to Year 9 and helping them improve their Mandarin skills. I am patient, friendly, and responsible, and I enjoy helping students build confidence while making learning Mandarin both enjoyable and practical. I look forward to supporting students of all ages in achieving their language goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised to each student’s learning goals, age, and current language level. I have around five months of experience teaching students from Year 1 to Year 9, helping them improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Mandarin. I create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build confidence, enjoy learning, and make steady progress. All lessons are conducted online and can be tailored to school support, exam preparation, or everyday conversation.

Flora's response
Brendan was very engaged and motivated throughout the lesson. He picked up the new phrases quickly and was willing to practise his pronunciation. With more practice in Pinyin and pronunciation, I think he’ll make great progress. It was a pleasure teaching him!
