About Cohen
Hello there!
My name is Cohen (pronounced Co-en).
I am a passionate and dedicated guitar, bass and vocal coach with lots of writing, recording, performing and teaching experience.
I have a bachelors degree with honours in music performance and over a decade of music industry experience at my disposal.
My biggest goal as a teacher is to pass on my passion to my students, to inspire them, so that they will always continue to develop their skills and knowledge both in and out of lesson.

Beginner and intermediate musicians of all ages.
In my lessons we will focus on all the essentials including; instrument maintenance, technique, music theory and phrasing, helping you to progress quickly as a well rounded musician.
I also teach beginner notation as an option (most students decide not to do this unless they plan to do graded exams in the future).
Lessons typically last 1-2 hours as this gives us time to take an in-depth look at our lesson topic (I wouldn't recommend booking anything shorter than an hour although I will accept bookings down to 30 minutes in length).
With a bachelors degree with honours and over a decade of practical industry experience (writing, recording, playing and teaching) you can rest easy in the knowledge that your education is in good hands.

Amazing guitar tutor, been having lessons with him for around 2 and a half years and had a great time. I've learnt so much, really recommend :)!
Cohen has been teaching my teenager for the last 2 1/2 years when, at the age of 12, they decided they wanted to learn guitar. All through COVID Cohen was able to continue their education through online lessons, returning to face to face once it was safe to do so. Nao it's studying music at school and is on course for a distinction in vocational music, with plans to continue studying music at college and beyond.
