I am extremely passionate about keeping fit and active.
I have my second degree black belt in karate and black belt in kickboxing.
I enjoy teaching fitness and being mindful of your body through discipline and mental strength.
I started as a white belt and pursued forward after years of training to achieve one of the greatest goals.
Karate has played a huge role in my role, both physically and mentally.
It has helped me on a daily basis, through various life challenges- it has been and continues to be my outlet.
Overall, it is a lifestyle that has transformed me and will continue to be part of my life.

I have been a karate and cardio kickboxing instructor for 7 years, with 12 years experience in both arts.
Lessons start with a simple, yet engaging warmup to get the heart pumping- exercises include pushups, sit ups, squats, jumping jacks to name a few.
After, we move onto stretching to help with flexibility of our arms, legs and back.
Each lesson is based on karate skills and techniques:
-->Basics for karate ( kihons)
-->Self defence
--> Kata
-->Sparring drills
I have always pushed my students to be better and consistently self improve.
I make my students work hard and make them understand the importance of the power of mental strength.
I am well respected and treat everyone equally.
I have conducted numerous gradings (test for each belt ranking) among children and adults of all ages, starting at 3 years old.
Ultimately, my intentions are to teach others the foundations of karate and at the same time empower oneself and have fun!
